I hope yall enjoyed my Fourth of July efforts that included three pieces. I have the new softball season starting tonight plus the Tigers will be on when I get home so I’m going to take the night off and come back with some great stuff starting tomorrow including more Keeper Building Blocks and a piece on patience and how much is too much. Tons of great game action tonight so enjoy the ridiculous matchups including:

CC v. CC… which is CC Sabathia – Carlos Carrasco
Felix Hernandez – Trevor Cahill
Tim Stauffer – Matt Cain
Jhoulys Chacin – Derek Lowe
Felipe Paulino – Jake Peavy (don’t laugh, that could be a really good matchup, just on a night like tonight it gets buried)
plus Cole Hamels, Jaime Garcia and Jon Lester are all going, too.
It could be an absurdly low-scoring night in baseball tonight, even for the 2011 low-scoring environment we have seen through half of the season.
