No Daily Dose for March 4th

Finished off what was a good week with a horrible day and I just don’t feel much like writing.  I did get some stuff done on my lunch break at work toward the completion of those posts I referenced in the upcoming schedule from today’s earlier post.

I don’t usually post on the weekend, but I may on this weekend.  At the very least I’ll have time to complete a lot of those upcoming pieces making next week a big one.

People have been drafting stud offense in Rd 1, stud pitching for 8 rounds straight, then 5 outfielders… leaving lower tiered infield with upside. Have you ever seen this? Please help me and explain how this could or could not work. What is he counting on? Is he insane?

    • That’s definitely out there as a strategy. I never dive into pitching that so I’m not sure I could stomach, but you have to try things in 10-teamers because there is so much talent to go around. On paper almost every team will look good, but it’s going to come down to injuries and who gets the breakout performances. Given that I’m not sure I’d bank on the unhealthiest position on the diamond, but it’s not a completely idiotic strategy bc there is talent to fill the IF later.

I’m partial to your team over his, but in a 10-team league, I’m not again him trying something different.
